Belated Wedding photos

We finally got some pictures from our formal wedding in January. Somehow though we only got the rejects and still are waiting on the final pics. . . . okay whatever. Some of the rejects are actually kind of cute. I love how cute Sara looks, 8 months pregos with little Elizabeth Claire and still doing a great job as my MOH. Love her.

Wayyyyy behind

So I realized (thanks to someone else posting their blog spot) that I have been seriously neglecting updating my blogs. I can not say I blame myself, I mean seriously I am pregnant, tired, working 7 shifts m-f waiting stupid tables (didn't I swear NEVER again. . ugh), I have a husband that is busy most every hour with law school so when he is actually home he wants to plan every minute of it. . . and well I am just lazy. . . oh and I forgot the constant need to go to the bathroom (although lately I think it is because the baby is having fun on my bladder).

However, I still feel guilty about not updating blogs. I use to be very good at keeping it up, I would at the very least post one blog a week on myspace. Now I am lucky if I respond to half of the people on myspace.

My two do list is 10 miles long and most of the items on there have been there for weeks, update the baby journal (which is SEVERAL entries behind), email people back (my inbox is over flowing with emails I have yet to respond to), organize my files (instead of all being crammed into my china cabinet, clean out the basement (mostly to make moving after the baby easier but also because I am hoping Mark will move his office down to the basement so the baby can have his room), and so on and so forth. Have I started ANY of these things? NOPE. . . I did do the dishes and go to the gym though, I think that took all my energy.

And the kicker is, I am never going to have any more time than I do now. . . because before the end of the year there will be a baby needing my time and attention. Now is the time to get things done. . . .if only I was motivated. Lordy.

The Solomon Family expands

Funny, I posted this on my myspace blog and Marks blogspot but not on my own. . . OOPS

It has been an exciting week. This weekend we found out were were pregnant and yesterday we went to the doctor and found out our estimated due date is September 19th.

Can you say WOW!?!

It feels like just yesterday I was thinking how cute Mark was as he was sitting on my couch in Gosnold Mews for the first time, then in a blink of an eye we were moving off to DC together to start on Mark's law school adventure, another blink and we are engaged .. .planning the rest of our lives together and before we can even blink again we are married.

It still seems magical and new to me that we are married, that Mark is my husband. But now here we are in Denver on part two of our adventure, as Mark finishes off his second year of law school . . .me 12 weeks pregnant. Before the end of this year, our next adventure, Parenting, begins.

I can not WAIT for this adventure. Where the idea is a little scary right now because we were planning on waiting another year and a half, it is also exciting. How can it not be exciting, we are expanding our family. . .we are going to have a miniature version of ourselves to love.

All of this makes me realize how lucky I am to have Mark. He has already become the doting husband and the concerned father. Immediately looking up all the possible harmful effects of the prescription meds I was taking before I knew I was pregnant. Making a veggie tray for me so when I get home from work and he is asleep I still have a healthy dinner. Helping me do research on what is good and bad for the baby. But most of all just being the sweetest, most considerate and wonderful husband ever.

I can not wait for our next adventure, because I know together we will do a GREAT job.
